September 2, 2023: The TS Model Portfolios has now been posted

This month's Portfolio report highlights the slowing economy. The report focuses on the Business Cycle and how that links in with the Stock Market Cycle.

Our performance with the TS Model Growth portfolio YTD outperforms the TSX, nearly equals the Vanguard World Total Index, and lags the benchmark S&P 500.

Our decision to hold a large percentage of cash at the start of the year due to our concerns with rising interest rates, mounting inflation, and inverted yield curves have likely placed our growth portfolio performance behind the S&P 500 this year.
